Polkua Vase

 An elegant, minimalist vase

These vases, which are made using my favorite technique, were handcrafted on the potter's wheel. The potter's wheel allows me plenty of creative freedom, so each vase is unique, with its own caricature and identity. The method is called 'throwing of the hump', which means starting with a large mound of clay and throwing pot after pot until eventually there is no clay left. I aspire to create joy through my products.
